The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucia feints and as Rego raises his hands in defense, Lucia changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rego kicks Lucia off and gets to his feet.
Rego throws a nice inside leg kick.
Lucia shoots in for a takedown but Rego shows good takedown defense.
Rego throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lucia tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rego is in Lucia's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rego is posturing up here but Lucia has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Rego tries to roll out but it's too tight and Rego has to tap! Slick submission there by Lucia!
