Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Thompson showed some decent athleticism there.
Thompson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rizzle defending well though.
Thompson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rizzle sees it coming and defends easily.
Rizzle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Thompson on the ground.
Thompson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Rizzle tries to get to full guard but Thompson has control of the leg.
Thompson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Rizzle actively working from the bottom here.
Thompson is pressing down on Rizzle's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rizzle is holding on for now.
Thompson is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Rizzle still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Rizzle has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Thompson is looking to reverse the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Rizzle tries to clinch up but Thompson circles away and keeps his distance.
A telegraphed right hand from Thompson misses the target.
Rizzle clinches.
Rizzle prevents a takedown attempt there.
Thompson tries to pull guard but Rizzle holds him up against the cage and eventually Thompson drops back down to his feet.
Rizzle tries to throw a body punch but Thompson avoids it by throwing Rizzle back against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Rizzle misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Thompson.
Rizzle throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Thompson blocks it with crossed arms.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Thompson takes a knee right on the jaw!
Thompson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Rizzle scores a nice knee to the body.
Thompson tries to pull guard but Rizzle holds him up against the cage and eventually Thompson drops back down to his feet.
Rudy Rizzle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Thompson.
Thompson tries to pull guard but Rizzle won't allow it.
Thompson fails to pull guard.
Rizzle missing with knees to the body.
Thompson takes a knee right on the jaw!
Rizzle is breathing heavily.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Thompson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rizzle is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Rizzle tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Rizzle gets control of Thompson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rizzle will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Thompson slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Thompson moves nicely into side control.
Thompson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rizzle, who protects the arm well.
Thompson has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Thompson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rizzle can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thompson looking for a guillotine from mount but Rizzle is having none of it.
Rizzle has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thompson has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Rizzle is defending well but eventually Thompson manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Rizzle has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
