The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lamb lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

I was talking to Jeremy's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Jeremy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jeremy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Lamb tries to bench press Jeremy off him but Jeremy keeps the position.

Jeremy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lamb is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jeremy thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lamb tries to buck Jeremy off but Jeremy is having none of it.
Lamb wants to control but Jeremy postures up.
Lamb is looking to reverse the position.
Jeremy is looking to take a break and control but Lamb is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
