Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Bangsit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stefan Michalak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michalak has chosen Tupac - Hail Mary as his entrance music. Stefan Michalak will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Bangsit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stefan Michalak! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bangsit walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Michalak jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bangsit tries to counter with a takedown but Michalak is quick to defend against it. We've been hearing reports that Bangsit has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Bangsit changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Michalak tries to avoid it but Bangsit manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Michalak to the ground. Michalak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bangsit shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Michalak manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Bangsit trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bangsit throws a big elbow that misses. Bangsit pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Michalak is keeping the position for now. Bangsit sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Michalak's guard. Bangsit tries to pass the half guard into mount. Michalak knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bangsit is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Michalak still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Michalak has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Bangsit tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bangsit is working hard here to advance position. Michalak has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Michalak swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bangsit misses with a takedown attempt - Michalak sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Michalak throws out a counter right but Bangsit avoids it with no problem. A shot to the liver by Michalak. Beautiful body shot. Michalak throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice defenses there by Bangsit. Bangsit tries to counter with a takedown but Michalak is quick to defend against it. Michalak thuds his right hand into Bangsit's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Michalak rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bangsit moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A head kick by Michalak misses and Bangsit counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bangsit. Bangsit drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Bangsit. That's going to take a lot out of him. Michalak breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A lazy left from Michalak finds it's target. Michalak loads up on a big right hand but Bangsit slips the punch. Bangsit drops down looking for a counter takedown but Michalak sprawls and moves away. Michalak throws a right hand that misses
and Bangsit counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Michalak controlling Bangsit's posture. Michalak working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bangsit.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bangsit throws a big right hand that misses. Bangsit working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bangsit drops back, looking for a kneebar! Michalak looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Michalak looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Michalak!
Bangsit has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bangsit is looking for a sweep. Bangsit is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Bangsit slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Michalak trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Michalak is posturing up here but Bangsit has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Michalak tries to roll out but it's too tight and Michalak has to tap! Slick submission there by Bangsit!
