These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Vladimirovich! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vladimirovich throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Harlamov drops down looking for a counter takedown but Vladimirovich sprawls and moves away. Vladimirovich misses with a body shot.
Harlamov takes a body punch but keeps moving. Excellent takedown into side control there by Vladimirovich. Harlamov trying to remain calm as Vladimirovich controls from the top position. Vladimirovich landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Vladimirovich has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Harlamov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vladimirovich wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Harlamov can't do much from the bottom here. He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Harlamov tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Vladimirovich!
