Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Urias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxwell Kegele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urias's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Here comes the BOOM. Kegele has chosen The Soulforged as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Miguel Urias is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miguel Urias! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maxwell Kegele! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Urias thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kegele if he has to take too many more of those.
Kegele shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Urias forces Kegele back against the cage and clinches. Kegele can't get the takedown.
Kegele wants the takedown. Urias is fighting it off but Kegele persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Urias's guard against the cage. Urias had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kegele is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Urias Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kegele's back instead. Kegele is really stuck here.
Urias connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Kegele to escape the position.
Urias is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Urias gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Urias gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Urias apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Urias tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Miguel Urias seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Urias connects with a solid leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Urias scores a takedown into full mount! Urias lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kegele is looking to improve his position but Urias isn't that keen on the idea. Kegele looks gassed! Kegele is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Urias raining down shots from the mount! Urias postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kegele looks a forlorn figure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Urias looking to secure an arm triangle but Kegele defends it well. Urias takes Kegele's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Kegele is in trouble. Kegele tries to escape the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Urias scores with punches to the body. Urias tightening his grip on Kegele, looking for the choke. Kegele is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Urias lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Kegele is taking damage to the body and head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Urias lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kegele wants to escape the position.
Urias throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Kegele!
Kegele is keeping busy.
Kegele is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Urias gets his way!
Urias has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kegele showing good submission defense here.
