Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maximus Hammer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ken Miller!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hammer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Miller keeping full guard, as Hammer tries to pass.
Hammer passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Hammer throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammer sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Miller is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The strikes coming from Hammer are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miller is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Miller prevents Hammer from moving into mount.
Miller is pushing Hammer's head away, looking to escape. Hammer manages to hold on to the position though.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Miller, as that shot connected.
Hammer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Miller.
Miller swings for the body but Hammer moves out of range.
Miller misses with a hook.
Miller swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Miller takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Hammer darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hammer prevents Miller from standing back up.
Miller keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Hammer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Miller keeps working.

Miller manages to escape and get back to his feet!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Miller thows a left - swing and a miss!
A swing and a miss from Miller.

Hammer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Miller sprawls well initially but Hammer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hammer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miller on the ground.
Miller is looking to escape.
Hammer not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Hammer sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Miller defending well though.
Hammer with the ground and pound but Miller uses the opportunity to regain guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hammer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Miller wants to stand up but Hammer is controlling him.
Hammer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Hammer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miller swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Hammer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Miller works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hammer fails with a takedown attempt.
Hammer ducks under a wild hook from Miller.
Miller misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hammer.
Miller throws the left hand but Hammer avoids the punch easily.
Miller lands a nice hook to Hammer's body. Hammer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hammer is breathing heavily.
Miller dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Miller lands with a hook. Hammer tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Miller cracks Hammer with a good jab.
Miller misses with a hook. Hammer ducked under it nicely.
Miller steps into range and cracks Hammer with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Hammer flops backwards and Miller dives into his guard looking to finish!


Hammer is rocked!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Miller decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hammer, up you get!
Oh Hammer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hammer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Miller.
Hammer seems to have got his legs back now.
Nice defenses there by Hammer.
Hammer walks into a stiff left hand from Miller.
Miller misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hammer.
Miller takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hammer shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.


Hammer is rocked!
Miller throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ken Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big left from Miller misses.
Miller cracks a nice hook into Hammer's ribs.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hammer takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Ken Miller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Miller lands a nice looking body shot.
Miller scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ken Miller dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Hammer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Miller ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Miller misses with a looping left.
Miller changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Miller lands an overhand right.
Miller throws a hook to the side of Hammer's head but Hammer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Miller bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Hammer! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Oh Hammer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Miller stands and steps away. Hammer gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Miller drops Hammer with a straight right hand, right on the button! Miller follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ken Miller!
