Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iwan Ochrymiuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Egor Sviridov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ochrymiuk comes to the cage accompanied by ЯрмаК - ЯсЮТу. Egor Sviridov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Iwan Ochrymiuk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Egor Sviridov! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Russell Pearce and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sviridov lands a body shot.
We've been hearing reports that Ochrymiuk has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Sviridov sizes up Ochrymiuk with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Iwan Ochrymiuk has been cut. Sviridov cracks Ochrymiuk with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Sviridov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ochrymiuk keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sviridov. Sviridov throws a right and a left that Ochrymiuk avoids nicely. Sviridov takes a swing at Ochrymiuk's ribcage but misses. Sviridov throws a sloppy body shot
and Ochrymiuk counters with a nice double leg into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ochrymiuk in particular looking to stall. Ochrymiuk tries to pass to full mount but Sviridov defends it. Ochrymiuk performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sviridov keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ochrymiuk is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Ochrymiuk prevents Sviridov from standing back up.
Ochrymiuk wants to work for an arm triangle but Sviridov is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ochrymiuk seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ochrymiuk has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Ochrymiuk trying to control the action but Sviridov is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sviridov looks to land a right hand but Ochrymiuk moved out of range. Ochrymiuk slips a jab and a cross from Sviridov.
Sviridov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ochrymiuk attempts a counter takedown but Sviridov avoids it well and moves away. Sviridov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ochrymiuk moves away. Sviridov misses with the combination.
Ochrymiuk changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Egor Sviridov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ochrymiuk moves into the clinch. Ochrymiuk is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sviridov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Ochrymiuk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sviridov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ochrymiuk was well out of range. Poor timing from Sviridov. Sviridov misses with a wild body shot. Sviridov looks to land a combination but Ochrymiuk avoids it well. Sviridov pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ochrymiuk back to the cage. Sviridov follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Nice defenses there by Sviridov. Sviridov throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Ochrymiuk stumbling backwards into the cage! Ochrymiuk bounces back off the cage towards Sviridov, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Sviridov lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Sviridov celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Egor Sviridov! A relieved looking Egor Sviridov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
