Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Practice Built (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Rydell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Practice Built! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Roger Rydell! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rydell fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Built seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Rydell misses with a right hand and Built counters with a one-two to the body. Built throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rydell let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Rydell falls off balance throwing a combination
and Built counters with a crisp one two that drops Rydell! Built thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Rydell to his feet! Rydell is in big trouble!
Rydell is rocked! Built scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Rydell is still on wobbly legs! Can Built finish him? We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rydell has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Built fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rydell seems to have recovered his senses. Built avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Built appears to be looking for a big counter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Built closes the distance and clinches. Rydell is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Built gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Built has had enough of the clinch but Rydell keeps him there for the moment. Rydell tries to score a body lock takedown but Built shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Practice Built has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Rydell. Rydell fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Rydell drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Built gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Rydell lands an elbow that stopped Built in his tracks for a moment. Our sources have told us that Built has been working on his elbows in the gym. Built breaks the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Built gets in close and instigates a clinch. Built gets underhooks to prevent Rydell's takedown attempt.
Rydell can't break the clinch.
Built is trying to force a seperation but Rydell has the dominant position. Rydell has Built pressed against the cage, preventing Built from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Rydell holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Rydell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rydell fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Built to the ground. Rydell is now in Built's guard. Rydell slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Rydell drops back looking for a leg! Built is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Built manages to kick Rydell off! Rydell jumps back into Built's guard. Rydell looks winded!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Built is looking to stand up but Rydell isn't so interested in that idea. Rydell thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rydell wants to control from the top but Built keeps moving. Built preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rydell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Built works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rydell is pushing down on Built's leg trying to pass to half guard. Built is fighting to maintain full guard but Rydell has managed to sneak the leg through. Rydell is just content to waste time from the top position. Built takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Rydell slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Built keeping moving, preventing Rydell from controlling successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Built trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Built looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Rydell steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Practice Built will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Rydell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Rydell closes this distance looking for a takedown but Built circles away. As Rydell looks to move away, Built throws a big counter combo but Rydell just gets out of the way. Built misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Built throws a series of punches but Rydell avoids them all with ease. Rydell shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Built counters with a one-two to the body. Practice Built has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Rydell. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Built misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rydell checks a low kick from Built. Rydell fails in his attempt to clinch. Built misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rydell wants to clinch up but Built keeps it at a distance. Practice Built is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A momentary lapse in concentration from Built enables Rydell to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Built manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Built wants to get back to his feet but Rydell passes into half guard.
Rydell is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Built has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Built is defending against the submission attempts here by Rydell.
Rydell is breathing heavily. Rydell seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Built is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rydell can do to turn this around? Rydell throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rydell scoring with strikes to the body and head. Rydell wants to work for an arm triangle but Built is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Rydell seems to be looking for submissions.
Rydell is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Rydell trying to control the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Built is trying to get back to full guard. Rydell winds up and cracks Built with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Built wants to control but Rydell is keeping busy and won't allow it. Built wants to get back to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Practice Built will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Rydell shoots in and bounces Built off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Built manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Rydell drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rydell is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Built blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Rydell has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Built is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Rydell takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rydell is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Built to keep the fight standing. Built tries to break the clinch but Rydell is controlling the position. Rydell tries for a takedown but Built manages to get underhooks.

Built scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Built throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Practice Built is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Built scores with a one two! Rydell had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Built is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Rydell like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Rydell from another fist facial!
