Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ryo Theyer and Marco Macotti. Macotti comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Macotti rushes Theyer and presses him up against the cage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Macotti is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Theyer defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Macotti has the hooks in. Theyer is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Macotti got a little sloppy there for a moment and Theyer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Macotti has managed to get both his arms back between Theyer's legs - danger averted.

Theyer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Macotti is aware though and is defending well.
Theyer has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Macotti should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Theyer has tightened it up now! Macotti should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

After the fight, Ryo Theyer was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |
