Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Kyle Goose and James McMannus. McMannus has chosen The Game - Name Me King (Feat. Pusha T) as his entrance music. James McMannus told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; James McMannus! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Goose pushes McMannus up against the cage in a clinch. Goose pulls guard successfully.

McMannus tries to free his leg and advance position but Goose is retaining full guard. McMannus sitting in guard here, content to control. McMannus trying to control the position from guard on top but Goose is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McMannus is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. McMannus wants to control from the top but Goose keeps moving.

McMannus is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. McMannus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Goose is keeping the position for now. Goose is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and McMannus defends well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. McMannus drops back, looking for a kneebar! Goose looks panicked! Goose has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. McMannus might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Goose haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

McMannus is looking to control Goose 's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McMannus avoid being mounted? McMannus is trying to get back to full guard. Goose is taking a breather. McMannus says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That's nine minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on McMannus's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. McMannus tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Goose easily slips into full mount! The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. McMannus is wriggling around trying to escape.

You can see the frustration on McMannus's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Goose has the hooks in. McMannus is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. McMannus is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Goose 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. McMannus tries to break free.
