Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Brian Burns and Frank Damozzi. Burns comes to the cage accompanied by Rock Master Scott & The Dynamic Three - The Roof Is On Fire. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Damozzi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Burns sprawls well initially but Damozzi persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Burns tries to roll over but Damozzi keeps him under control. Burns is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at FIERCE that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Burns is working hard here to advance position. Burns is staying active underneath Damozzi, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Damozzi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Burns is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Frank Damozzi seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. Brian Burns spoke after the fight, saying 'Hats off to my opponent. He was better tonight. I hope we meet again in the future.'. |
