Schultz tries to pull guard but Tatarinov won't allow it.
Tatarinov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Schultz is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Tatarinov gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Schultz regains guard.

Tatarinov wants to pass the guard but Schultz is keeping the position. Schultz is pulling down on Tatarinov's head to control his posture. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Schultz is on top in guard.

Tatarinov can't keep his opponent in guard - Schultz advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schultz is looking for a kimura but Tatarinov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Schultz to get the leverage.
