The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Su throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bravo was covering up waiting for the punch and Su finishes the takedown easily into guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Bravo (0) vs (2) Su Su's corner is telling him to maintain position. Su's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo looking for a sweep. Not yet Bravo, not yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Su tries to free his leg and advance position but Bravo is retaining full guard. Su slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Su looking to pass the guard. Su's corner is telling him to maintain position. Su passes Bravo's left leg - he's now in half guard. Su takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Bravo is trying to reverse the position but instead Su has taken his back - oops! Score +3 for taking back: Bravo (0) vs (8) Su Su has good solid back control here.

It looks like Su might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Su is riding his opponent, not letting Bravo buck him off. Bravo defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Su's arms.

That's nine minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Su has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Bravo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Su. Bravo is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Su is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bravo is defending well though. Su let's go of the attempt for now. I would not like to be Bravo right now.

Su is trying to stick to Bravo's back but Bravo is turning into Su. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Su's guard.
