Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leon Garcia! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping body kick lands there for Garcia. Silva throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Garcia - that will leave a mark!
Silva scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Garcia is looking to improve his position.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Silva is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Garcia sees it coming and defends easily. Garcia is pressing down on Silva's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Garcia avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Silva trying to control but Garcia is working from the bottom. Silva is fighting to break Garcia's control of his arms but Garcia is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Silva wants to stand but Garcia is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garcia is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Garcia pulls Silva in close to his closed guard and prevents Silva from doing any damage or advancing position. Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Garcia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Garcia had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Silva is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Garcia Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silva's back instead. What can Silva do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Silva wants to control his opponent's hands but Garcia gets his hands free. Silva is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Silva is trying to get back to his feet but Garcia has full control of the position and if anything, Silva has just worked his way into a worse spot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Garcia looking for the choke but no joy. Garcia is not going to allow Silva to sit and survive in this position. Garcia has the hooks in. Silva is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Silva is breathing heavily. Garcia slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva prevents Garcia from getting a body triangle. Garcia looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Silva taps!
