Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Henry Jamison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Solid Snake!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jamison takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Jamison gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jamison is looking for a triangle but Snake pushes his legs off easily.
Snake works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Jamison is trying to maintain the position but Snake is very close to passing his half guard.
Ground and pound from Snake.
Snake passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jamison!

Jamison wants to hold on but Snake pushes him away.
Snake takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Snake has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jamison gets back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Snake wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jamison keeps working.

Snake should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Snake throws an elbow but Jamison slips to the side and avoids it well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Good standup being displayed there by Jamison as he connects with a hook.
Jamison closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Snake misses with a body kick.
Jamison gets caught flat footed, as Snake shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Snake thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Snake slips nicely into half guard.

Snake has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Jamison is trying to escape the mount.
Snake fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Snake has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jamison's face.
Jamison is rocked!
Snake unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Jamison wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Snake celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Solid Snake!
