PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vic Kaos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skyd Flear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flear has chosen Am at war as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Skyd Flear looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vic Kaos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Skyd Flear!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaos listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.


It looks like Skyd Flear has been cut.
Flear tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kaos swivels and escapes.
Kaos throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Kaos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Flear's guard.
Kaos might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kaos is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Kaos advances position into side control!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kaos works to advance to full mount. Flear defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Kaos looking for a guillotine from mount but Flear is having none of it.
Kaos looking to finish with strikes here!
Flear looks gassed!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Flear is bucking up trying to escape but Kaos cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Flear takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Kaos can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Flear is looking to escape.

Kaos looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Kaos in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kaos is landing with some decent strikes but Flear is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Flear wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Kaos.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kaos cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kaos can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Flear is looking to escape.
Flear wants to try and get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kaos trying to control but Flear is having none of it.
Kaos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Flear is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Flear wants to hold on but Kaos pushes him away.
Kaos controlling from the full mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kaos wants to finish this one by submission but Flear is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kaos.

Kaos goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Flear is on top in guard.

Kaos is working an open guard so Flear takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vic Kaos dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Skyd Flear's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Kaos throws a head kick but Flear moves out of range.

Kaos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kaos is looking to stand up but Flear won't let him.

Flear kicks Kaos off and gets to his feet.
Kaos fails in his attempt to clinch.
Flear doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Kaos counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Flear is trying to control the position but Kaos postures up.
Kaos in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Kaos prevents Flear from getting back to his feet.
Kaos being controlled here momentarily.
Flear is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kaos is controlling him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kaos stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Kaos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Flear swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Flear closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kaos is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kaos trying to hold on to Flear's head to control him but Flear postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Flear prevents Kaos from improving his position.
Flear trying to pass the guard but Kaos defending well.

Flear seems to be working for a kimura but Kaos defends the submission attempt.
Flear moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Kaos.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kaos is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Kaos regains half guard.
Kaos wants to get back to his feet.
Kaos is looking to control Flear's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kaos avoid being mounted?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vic Kaos dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Skyd Flear's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Kaos misses with a few strikes there.
Kaos keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kaos throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Flear shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Flear was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kaos bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kaos passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Kaos stands up and beckons Flear to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kaos tries for a takedown but Flear circles away easily

and Flear decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kaos's guard.
Flear pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kaos is keeping the position for now.

Flear is posturing up here but Kaos has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Flear tries to roll out but it's too tight and Flear has to tap! Slick submission there by Kaos!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Vic Kaos!
