Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jordan Clark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ai Kage! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kage connects with a body shot. Clark wants to clinch up but Kage keeps it at a distance. Clark tries to clinch but Kage moves out of range. Kage tries to clinch and Clark counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Clark wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kage keeps working. Clark blocks the strikes from Kage.
Clark missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kage won't allow Clark to pass to mount. Kage looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Clark wants to get back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Clark throws a good cross that connects.
Horrible takedown by Clark or perhaps it was just good defense by Kage which made him look bad. Clark tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kage was well out of range. Poor timing from Clark. Clark throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kage. Clark keeps the fight on the outside. Clark tries to clinch up but Kage circles away and keeps his distance. Clark fails to land with a series of punches.
Clark shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kage as he jumps to the side. Kage throws a big shot that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Clark circles away from the clinch attempt.
Clark will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jordan Clark. That's going to take a lot out of him. Clark is breathing heavily. Kage tries to clinch but Clark moves away and Clark counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Clark. Kage breaks the clinch.
Clark takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Clark closes the distance and clinches up with Kage, looking for a takedown. Clark pushes Kage against the cage but Kage circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kage thows a body shot but no joy. Kage throws an overhand right that lands on Clark's shoulder, as Clark tries to avoid the shot. Kage stuffs the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kage decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kage is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kage wants to control the pace but Clark is squirming around nicely. Kage working for a submission but Clark is keeping him at bay. Clark has given up his back here.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kage looking to break Clark's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Clark remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Kage will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Kage has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Clark has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Kage doesn't have the hooks in and Clark manages to turn into his guard.

The fight stays on the outside here - Clark looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kage is looking to clinch but Clark is avoiding it.
A punch combination from Clark misses. A slow jab from Kage misses its intended target. Clark misses with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clark misses with a takedown attempt and Kage counters with a nice leg kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kage has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Clark can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kage clinches but Clark breaks the clinch and Clark counters with a three punch combo that has Kage backing up. Kage nods at Clark to acknowledge the strikes. Kage buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Clark with a lazy takedown attempt and Kage counters with a low kick, right behind Clark 's knee. Kage looks to land a combination but Clark avoids it well. Kage is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Clark. Clark lands a body shot.
Kage clinches up with Clark and pushes him back against the cage. Clark prevents Kage from breaking the clinch. Clark blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Kage is looking to break free of the clinch but Clark has double underhooks. Kage tries to break the clinch but Clark is controlling the position. Kage walks forward, straight into a front kick from Clark. Clark fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kage, pushing him back against the cage. Clark being controlled against the cage. Kage wants to break the clinch but can't.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Clark. Clark breaks from the clinch.

Kage shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Danga de danga de dang - Kage scores with a four punch combination! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clark showed some decent athleticism there. Kage slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Kage utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kage is working an open guard so Clark takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kage connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Kage stuffs the takedown attempt from Clark. Clark gets slowly back to his feet.

Kage with a lazy takedown attempt so Clark counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Kage has momentary wrist control but Clark slips an elbow through the middle. Clark throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kage trying to control the position.

Clark doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Clark manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kage is looking for a sweep. Clark is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kage is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kage circles away from the clinch attempt.
Clark throws a sloppy head kick and Kage moves out of range easily. Clark ducks right into an uppercut from Kage. Kage shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Clark holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Jordan Clark showed his dominance in that final round. I think Clark has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
