Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Harut Hakobyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deno Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harut Hakobyan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Deno Ripper!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hakobyan digs a good body shot into Ripper's ribs.
Ripper takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ripper has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ripper pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hakobyan is out of range and Ripper settles back down.

Hakobyan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Ripper breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hakobyan throws a wild body kick that Ripper sees coming a mile off.

Ripper tries to close the distance and clinch but Hakobyan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Ripper has Hakobyan pressed against the ropes, preventing Hakobyan from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Hakobyan wants to slow Ripper down by chopping away at his legs.

Ripper lands with a kick to the temple. Hakobyan shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Ripper closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ripper tries to clinch but Hakobyan is having none of it.
Ripper with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ripper takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Deno Ripper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

It appears Hakobyan was looking to counter with a kick there.
Hakobyan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Ripper wants to clinch up but Hakobyan keeps it at a distance.
Hakobyan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ripper tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hakobyan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Hakobyan counters with a three punch combo that has Ripper backing up. Ripper nods at Hakobyan to acknowledge the strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A relieved looking Deno Ripper thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
