Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Juan Fonseca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mervin Aston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan Fonseca! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mervin Aston! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aston fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Fonseca on the side of the head. Fonseca throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Aston. Some bone on bone action there as Fonseca checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Fonseca lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Aston has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Aston and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Fonseca misses with a low kick.
Aston takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Aston ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Fonseca throws a series of punches but Aston avoids them all with ease. Fonseca backing away here, and Aston unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Aston looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Fonseca feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Astons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Fonseca scores with a nice head shot. Fonseca with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Aston to score with a decent uppercut. Fonseca checks a leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Aston misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Aston walks into a straight right hand from Fonseca. Fonseca is looking to slow Aston down with leg kicks. Fonseca throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Aston counters with a nice uppercut. Fonseca slips under a jab from Aston. Aston cracks the inside of Fonseca's front leg. Aston drops his hands momentarily and Fonseca takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Fonseca avoids the head kick by Aston.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aston buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Aston is looking to score with low kicks. Fonseca fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Aston on the side of the head.
Aston is rocked! Fonseca throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Aston connects with a single shot there. Fonseca throws a nice outside leg kick. Aston scores with a hook to the body. Fonseca takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Fonseca fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Aston has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Aston fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fonseca. Fonseca fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Fonseca misses with a hook. Aston ducked under it nicely. Good work by Fonseca as he checks the leg kick. Fonseca misses with a low kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fonseca moves out of range as Aston strikes. Fonseca checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Fonseca takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Aston throws a front kick aimed at Fonseca's knee but Fonseca avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fonseca gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Aston keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Fonseca connects with a solid leg kick. Aston takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Fonseca misses with a double jab
and Aston counters with a straight right hand. Fonseca fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Fonseca lands with a nice body punch. No joy there for Fonseca, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Aston throws a low kick but Fonseca moves out of range easily. Aston ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fonseca moves away. Fonseca takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nice body kick from Aston. Aston is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Fonseca had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Fonseca throws a leg kick and Aston counters with a nice uppercut. Fonseca misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Aston.
Aston appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Fonseca rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Aston counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Aston with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aston throws a wild body kick that Fonseca sees coming a mile off. Fonseca scoring well with a low kick there.
Fonseca lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Aston lands a right hook to the body.
Aston throws the left hand but Fonseca avoids the punch easily. A slapping leg kick lands for Fonseca.
Aston attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Fonseca lunges at Aston with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Aston's hand. Juan Fonseca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A slapping leg kick lands for Fonseca.

Fonseca takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Fonseca misses the shot to the body. Aston is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Fonseca with a body shot. Fonseca clobbers Aston with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. This has been an exciting period of action! Fonseca throws a leg kick but Aston sees it coming and checks it nicely. Fonseca just misses with a punch to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Aston's jab looks to have found its range, popping Fonseca under the eye. Fonseca tries to bum rush Aston with a series of wild strikes but Aston uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Aston looks for the body kick but Fonseca saw that one coming. A little feinted left hand from Fonseca on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Fonseca stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Aston. Aston throws a lazy right hand but Fonseca sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Aston lands a front kick to the face, that drops Fonseca to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!
It looks like Juan Fonseca has been cut. Aston blocks a jab. A low kick from Fonseca misses and Aston counters with a one-two to the body.
Fonseca is rocked! Fonseca lands a leg kick that knocks Aston off balance momentarily. Aston misses with an attempted mid kick.
Aston misses with a leg kick. Aston takes one on the button. Aston tries to land a front kick but Fonseca steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fonseca throws a leg kick and Aston counters with a one-two to the body. Oh Fonseca is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Aston tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A nice leg kick lands there from Fonseca. Fonseca connects with a solid leg kick. A solid leg kick lands there for Aston.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Having scored a knockdown, Mervin Aston should take round 1, putting pressure on his opponene back strong in round 2. The cut man is working on Juan Fonseca's cut. That's time! Fonseca's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nice body kick from Aston. Fonseca seems to have got his legs back now. Aston avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Aston gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. A good leg kick by Aston. Aston lands a head kick that bluckles Fonseca and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Aston no doubt looking to push for a finish! A head kick misses from Aston. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Aston catches Fonseca napping and cracks him with a perfect head kick! Fonseca goes down! He's bigtime hurt! He's not going to make it back to his feet - the referee has called it off! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Mervin Aston! Mervin Aston seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
