Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Mick Mars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Fonseca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mars comes to the ring accompanied by Shout At The Devil. Mick Mars could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Juan Fonseca's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mars gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Mars tries to work over Fonseca's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Fonseca breaks the clinch.
Fonseca takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Mars lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mars scores with a hook to the body. Fonseca takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Fonseca throws a series of punches but Mars avoids them all with ease.

Fonseca throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Mars slips a straight right by Fonseca.

Mars jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Mars lunges at Fonseca with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fonseca's hand.
Mars dodges the punch combination from Fonseca.

Mars tries a head kick but it misses.
A little jabbing left from Fonseca on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
A lazy left from Mars finds it's target.
Fonseca pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Fonseca takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fonseca tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mars looks to score with a jab to the body but Fonseca is just out of range.
Juan Fonseca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mars just misses with a punch to the body.
Fonseca doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Mars tries a head kick but it misses.

A looping hook to the body misses from Mars. Fonseca does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fonseca shapes to counter with a head kick.

Mars throws a good cross that connects.
Fonseca is rocked!
Mars drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Fonseca onto his butt! Fonseca pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.
Fonseca is still on wobbly legs! Can Mars finish him?
Fonseca fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mars manages to avoid it.
It looks like Mars has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Mars misses with a hook to the body
and Fonseca counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice jab there from Mars.
Fonseca looks to land a right hand but Mars moved out of range.
Mars throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fonseca throws a head kick that Mars semi-blocks.
Fonseca walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Fonseca is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!

After winning the bout, Mick Mars thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
