Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jake Devron! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Billy Dixon! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dixon throws a leg kick which misses Devron's front leg but catches the back leg as Devron tries to avoid it. Devron tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dixon lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Devron seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Devron misses with a left hand and Dixon counters with a nice uppercut. Dixon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Devron. Sloppy strikes from Devron. Those never looked like landing. Dixon throws a hook but Devron avoids it easily. Dixon uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Devron is rocked! Devron misses with a right hand and as Devron takes a moment to reset, Dixon counters with a massive combo! Right, left, right! Devron goes down! He's in big trouble, can he recover? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10. He's out! Dixon is your winner!
