The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stifiler shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has West pinned against the cage. West gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A left and a right from West both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Steven Stifiler has been cut.
Stifiler circles away from the clinch attempt.
West has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Steven Stifiler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
West drops Stifiler with a left and a right! Oh, Stifiler is hurt - West dives into side control looking to finish!
