Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Neyman Gariniho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Jacks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Brian Jacks told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Neyman Gariniho! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Jacks! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacks keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jacks has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gariniho is landing a low percentage of strikes. Jacks throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gariniho makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Jacks throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gariniho takes a swing at Jacks's ribcage but misses. Jacks throws out a counter right but Gariniho avoids it with no problem. Jacks looks to score with a jab to the body but Gariniho is just out of range. Gariniho was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Gariniho bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jacks keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jacks misses with an uppercut. Brian Jacks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gariniho stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gariniho wants it to stay on the feet. Gariniho uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jacks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jacks lands a nice looking body shot.
Jacks slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Jacks ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Jacks thows a left - swing and a miss! Gariniho misses the shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gariniho steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jacks. Gariniho ducks under a wild hook from Jacks. Jacks moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Jacks ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gariniho moves away. Jab, jab by Jacks - just one landing. Jacks rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gariniho counters with a nice body shot. Jacks lands a lovely overhand right. Jacks takes one to the side of the head.
Jacks closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gariniho quickly recovers to half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jacks is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gariniho sees it coming and defends easily. Jacks is stalling here. Gariniho is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Jacks seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Gariniho has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Jacks is trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jacks is trying to control Gariniho's posture but Gariniho avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gariniho controlling the position from side mount. Jacks struggling a bit here. Jacks is looking to reverse the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gariniho slows the pace down. Jacks is looking for a sweep. Jacks is trying to work for a sweep but Gariniho has mounted him! Gariniho controlling the position easily from mount. Jacks is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jacks can't escape the position.
Jacks tries to improve his position but instead Gariniho has taken his back!

Despite being in a bad position, Jacks is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts. Jacks trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Gariniho biding his time, looking for the opening.
Gariniho doesn't have the hooks in and Jacks manages to turn into his guard.
Jacks sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gariniho's guard. Gariniho is looking to improve his position.
Jacks is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gariniho doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jacks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Brian Jacks will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gariniho slips under a jab from Jacks. Brian Jacks seems to be getting the better of the standup. A solid body kick from Gariniho. Jacks fails with the takedown. We've been told by Gariniho's head coaches at The Studio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Gariniho moves out of range as Jacks strikes. Jacks on the wrong end of a nice jab. Gariniho works Jacks's body with a nice hook. A big left from Jacks misses. Jacks rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gariniho counters with a nice body shot. Gariniho is looking to wear down Jacks with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. and Gariniho cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jacks keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jacks thuds his right hand into Gariniho's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Gariniho dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jacks. That did some damage! Gariniho's corner calls for a 1-2. Gariniho obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Neyman Gariniho is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gariniho throws a head kick but Jacks moves out of range.

and Gariniho counters with a stiff right hand. Jacks with a body punch. A glancing blow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A big left from Gariniho misses.

Jacks stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Jacks throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gariniho stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jacks misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gariniho.
Nice defenses there by Gariniho. A counter left hand to the body from Gariniho misses its target. Gariniho displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jacks throws out the jab. and Gariniho counters with a crisp one two that drops Jacks! Gariniho thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Jacks to his feet! Jacks is in big trouble! Jacks connects with a right hand. Gariniho shakes it off. Jacks throws an off balance right hand
and Gariniho counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jacks thinking. Jacks is breathing heavily. Gariniho changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Gariniho throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jacks scores with a sloppy right hand. Gariniho should have avoided that one. Gariniho jabs at Jacks's body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jacks misses with a right hand and Gariniho counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Gariniho lands with a right hand. Jacks misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Gariniho counters into the clinch. Nicely done. A right handed body shot lands from Gariniho.
Gariniho is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. A nice left hand lands by Gariniho.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jacks throws a punch but it's blocked by Gariniho. Jacks jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gariniho walks away with a smile on his face. Jacks gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. A punch lands to the side of Jacks 's head but he takes it in his stride. Gariniho moves out of range of the strikes. Jacks jabs Gariniho to the body, keeping him at a distance. Gariniho steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jacks. Jacks changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gariniho tries to avoid it but Jacks manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gariniho to the ground. Gariniho escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Neyman Gariniho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Jacks. Gariniho lands with a nice body punch. Jacks throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gariniho sends Jacks crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gariniho is motioning to the referee to let Jacks up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Jacks is rocked! Jacks drops his hands momentarily. Gariniho doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Jacks staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Jacks doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Neyman Gariniho! Neyman Gariniho retains his middleweight title!
