Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haislan Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Da Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kendrick Lamar - Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe. Leonardo Da Silva could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Haislan Garcia's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Da Silva lands a nice leg kick that just misses Garcia's sensitive parts. A big left from Garcia misses. A low kick from Da Silva is predictable there and Garcia counters by moving into the clinch. Da Silva can't find room to land a body shot as Garcia controls the action.

Leonardo Da Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Garcia misses the shot to the body. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Garcia crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Da Silva - the referee stops the clock and Garcia gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Da Silva. Garcia manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Da Silva throws a nice outside leg kick. Da Silva throws a lazy head kick and Garcia counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Garcia is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Da Silva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Garcia. Garcia is trying to control the action in half guard but Da Silva is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Garcia is keen to just control but Da Silva is a slippery customer. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Garcia working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Garcia wants to pass to mount but Da Silva is defending the position. Garcia works his foot free and advances to mount. Da Silva tries to hold on but Garcia pushes him away. Garcia looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Da Silva tries to hold on but Garcia postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Leonardo Da Silva will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
