Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Araujo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Octopus Crime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Araujo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Octopus Crime!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araujo wants to clinch but Crime slips to the side

and Crime counters with a single leg into guard. Araujo didn't expect that.
Araujo has control of Crime's left arm, preventing Crime from doing any damage.
Araujo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Crime controls the pace.
Araujo lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Crime drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Araujo gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Crime looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Crime accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Araujo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The fight stays on the outside here - Araujo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Crime closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Crime takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Crime's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Octopus Crime showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Well Crime has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
