Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ajvarez shoots in but Boyd avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Boyd stuffs the takedown attempt from Ajvarez. Ajvarez gets slowly back to his feet.
Ediee Ajvarez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Boyd has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ajvarez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ajvarez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close round but I would say that Ike Boyd will probably get the nod.
