Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Crotch Grabber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Pierno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andre Pierno!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grabber lands an overhand right.
Grabber fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Grabber connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Pierno onto his butt! Pierno bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
Pierno moves out of range of the strikes.

Pierno has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Grabber finds it's way round the side to connect with Pierno's head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grabber drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Pierno onto his butt! Pierno pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.

Grabber staggers Pierno with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Pierno looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!

Grabber scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Pierno beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.

It seemed like Pierno was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Crotch Grabber takes that one as he scored multiple knockdowns. Andre Pierno was lucky to get out of the first round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
