Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fausto Folgore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Folgore might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to TNT. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fausto Folgore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Allen! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Folgore shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Allen as he avoids it easily. Allen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Allen trying to control the position from guard on top but Folgore is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Allen decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Allen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Allen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Folgore's guard. Folgore has his foot on Allen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Allen works his way back into a safe position though. Allen controlling from the top position. Allen lands a couple of decent looking shots. Folgore had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Allen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Folgore Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Allen's back instead. Folgore has his opponent's back but Allen is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Folgore.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen has his takedown stuffed and Folgore counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Folgore is breathing heavily. Allen is controlling Folgore's posture. Folgore trying to control but Allen is working from the bottom. Allen keeping full guard, as Folgore tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Folgore trying to control but Allen is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Allen tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Allen is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Folgore looking to throw knees to the head but Allen is blocking nicely.
Allen fails to pull guard.
Folgore jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Allen walks away with a smile on his face. Folgore gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Allen has closed the distance and engaged Folgore in a clinch.
Allen jumps guard but Folgore stands there with Allen around his waist. Allen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Fausto Folgore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Allen. Allen works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Allen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Allen works over Folgore with some ground and pound from guard. Folgore looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Allen trying to control but Folgore is working from the bottom. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Allen scoring with punches to the head and body. Allen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Folgore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen controls from within his opponent's guard. Folgore looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Allen is defending well. Folgore quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Allen has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Folgore celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
