Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Rick Rollins (ranked 4967 p4p, 622 weight class) and Achilles Doukas (ranked 22837 p4p, 931 weight class). Doukas is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Avatar-Black Waters. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rick Rollins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Achilles Doukas! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doukas connects with a leg kick. Rollins looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Rollins tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A swing and a miss from Doukas. Rollins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Doukas swats him away and circles back towards the center. A good leg kick by Rollins. Doukas showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rollins.
Rollins lands with a straight right. Doukas didn't see that one coming. Rollins misses with a two punch combination.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doukas lands a nice shot to the body.

Rick Rollins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Doukas clobbers Rollins with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Rick Rollins has been cut. Doukas lands a high kick!
This has been an exciting period of action! Rollins misses with a combination
and Doukas counters with a body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rollins throws a predictable looking body shot
and Doukas counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Rollins darts in and clinches Doukas up against the ropes. Doukas breaks from the clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Rollins. Those never looked like landing. Rollins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Doukas! But no joy. Rollins rushes Doukas and presses him up against the ropes. Rollins tries to circle away but Doukas has him pinned against the ropes. Good body shot from Doukas.
Doukas taking a breather. Doukas tries to work over Rollins's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. A short left from Doukas. Doukas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rollins tries to clinch and Doukas counters with a straight right hand. Rollins moves in looking to clinch but Doukas pushes him off. A little jabbing left from Doukas on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Doukas fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rollins closes the distance looking to clinch and Doukas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Rollins looks to land a combination but Doukas avoids it well. Rollins will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A jab from Doukas finds it's way through Rollins's defenses. Rollins closes the distance but Doukas moves to the side and Doukas counters with a slapping leg kick. Doukas looks to score with a jab to the body but Rollins is just out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Achilles Doukas dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rick Rollins's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rollins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Rollins tries to clinch but Doukas moves out of range. Good shot there by Rollins. A head kick by Doukas misses and Rollins counters with a lovely shot to the body. Rollins tries to close the distance and clinch but Doukas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rollins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Doukas moves away. Nice body punch from Rollins. Doukas listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Rick Rollins is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rollins scores with a leg kick.
Doukas cracks Rollins with a good jab. Rollins tries to grapple but his opponent circles enabling Doukas to counter with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doukas throws a push kick but Rollins slaps the foot to one side. Rollins closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Doukas manages to break the clinch.

Rollins tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Doukas paws at him with a jab and circles away. A little jabbing left from Doukas on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Good shot there by Doukas. Rollins wants to clinch and Doukas counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Doukas misses with a few strikes there.
Doukas scores with a decent looking hook. Rollins misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Doukas.
Doukas swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rollins tries to clinch up but Doukas circles away and keeps his distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doukas throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Rollins went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Doukas looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A punch combination from Rollins misses. Achilles Doukas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rollins on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Nice body punch from Doukas. Rollins fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. No joy there for Rollins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A jab lands there for Doukas. Achilles Doukas seems to be getting the better of the standup. Rollins takes a body punch but keeps moving. Rollins closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Doukas stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Achilles Doukas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Rick Rollins's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rollins uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Rollins wants to clinch and Doukas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Rollins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Doukas. Doukas misses with a jab to the body
and Rollins counters with a two punch combo. Rollins tries to clinch but Doukas moves out of range. A jab from Doukas does it's job there. Rollins throws a hook but Doukas blocks it. Rollins walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Rollins is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Achilles Doukas! During a confident post fight interview, Achilles Doukas thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
