The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dassler dives in for a single leg takedown but Joney sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Joney has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Dassler shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Joney as he avoids it easily.
As Dassler looks to move away, Joney throws a big counter combo but Dassler just gets out of the way.

Joney clinches with his opponent.
Joney prevents a takedown attempt there.
Jonny Joney has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adi Dassler.
Dassler is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Joney pushes Dassler back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
