Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between JJ McNee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donatas Radyys (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, JJ McNee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Donatas Radyys! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Radyys ducks straight into an uppercut from McNee and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Radyys manages to regain guard straight away.
Radyys is rocked! Radyys avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Radyys is still in real trouble! Can McNee finish him? Radyys preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. McNee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Radyys on the ground. McNee is looking to work some ground and pound but Radyys has wrist control. McNee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McNee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. McNee with a flurry of punches that miss. Radyys looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McNee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. McNee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Radyys works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McNee throwing strikes from guard but Radyys blocks nicely. McNee loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. McNee throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Radyys utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. McNee throwing strikes from guard but Radyys blocks nicely. Radyys working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from McNee. Radyys seems to have recovered his senses. McNee throws a big right hand that misses. Radyys escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McNee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. McNee trying to control but Radyys is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Radyys looking to control.
McNee throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Radyys lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as McNee holds on and takes a little breather. Radyys is looking to work some ground and pound but McNee has wrist control. Radyys stays in close to McNee's body and controls the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Radyys accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. McNee wants to sweep but no luck. Radyys throws a big right hand that misses. Radyys has gone for a leg lock! McNee slips out almost immediately though and dives into Radyys's guard. McNee throws a strike but Radyys rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. McNee being controlled here, momentarily. McNee is working an open guard so Radyys takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. A head kick by McNee misses and Radyys counters with a two punch combo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McNee wants to land a leg kick but Radyys is out of range. As McNee backs off Radyys throws a huge counter combo but McNee manages to avoid it all. McNee uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Radyys has time to react. McNee swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Radyys moves out of range of the body kick. McNee jabs at Radyys's body. Radyys takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Radyys defending well as McNee loads up on a big left hand. Radyys doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Radyys tries to move into range but McNee moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. McNee throws a leg kick that is checked and Radyys counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McNee misses with a hook
and Radyys decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McNee's guard. McNee uses the cage to get back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A momentary lapse in concentration from McNee enables Radyys to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. McNee manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Radyys wants to control from the top but McNee keeps moving. Radyys throwing strikes from guard but McNee blocks nicely. McNee keeping moving, preventing Radyys from controlling successfully. Radyys won't allow McNee to sweep him here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
JJ McNee dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Radyys shoots in looking for a takedown but McNee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Radyys's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Radyys uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McNee.
JJ McNee is winning the standup battle so far. McNee looks to land a body kick but Radyys moved away. A head kick misses from McNee. Radyys with the counter takedown but McNee avoids it easily. McNee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Radyys moves away. Radyys is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Radyys shoots for a takedown but McNee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McNee steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Radyys. That one must have hurt. Radyys fails with a takedown attempt from distance. JJ McNee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donatas Radyys. McNee looks to throw the jab but Radyys is out of range. JJ McNee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Radyys shoots and misses and McNee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. McNee misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Radyys counters with a flying knee. Nice. McNee clobbers Radyys with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Radyys keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Radyys is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Radyys with a poor takedown and McNee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. McNee throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Radyys sees it coming and avoids it easily. Radyys is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. No luck for Radyys with that takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Radyys looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Radyys wants to work for an arm triangle but McNee is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
McNee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Radyys can do to turn this around? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Radyys is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Radyys is looking to take a break and control but McNee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McNee manages to escape and get back to his feet!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Radyys shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Radyys prevents McNee from improving his position. Radyys decides to stand up. Radyys avoids the body shot from McNee.
Radyys will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. McNee misses with a hook. Radyys ducked under it nicely. Radyys is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Radyys needs to keep his hands up - McNee had a free shot at his head there.

and Radyys makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. McNee really felt that one! Radyys moves out of range as McNee strikes. McNee misses with a left hand so Radyys counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Radyys prevents McNee from getting back to his feet. Radyys connects with a couple of short punches. McNee controlling Radyys's posture. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Radyys wants to control from the top but McNee keeps moving. Radyys stands up over McNee, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
JJ McNee dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Nice straight punches there by McNee. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of McNee. McNee lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Radyys is looking to close the distance but McNee sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Radyys crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Radyys is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
