Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Hendry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Tyke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Hendry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Henry Tyke!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyke misses with the combination.

Hendry drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Tyke struggling a bit here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hendry goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Tyke rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Hendry's guard! Nice work there by Tyke!

Hendry is looking for a triangle here but Tyke uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Tyke trying to control the action but Hendry is working from the bottom.
Hendry tries to improve position but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Hendry is trying to control Tyke's posture but Tyke avoids it.

Hendry regains half guard.

Tyke is thwarting Hendry's attempts to control the position.
Hendry is not content to let Tyke control the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hendry slips a jab and a cross from Tyke.
Henry Tyke is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tyke gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Hendry drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hendry jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyke fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Hendry closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hendry lands in his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tyke wants to control the position but Hendry says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tyke has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hendry is working away from the top position though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hendry is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tyke defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tyke is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Tyke throws a series of punches but Hendry moves out of range.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
No joy there for Tyke, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tyke throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Tyke misses with the combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Hendry dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Tyke throws a series of punches but Hendry moves out of range.
Tyke throws out a powerful jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tyke gets caught flat footed, as Hendry shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tyke looking to control but Hendry passes into half guard.
Hendry seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Hendry is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hendry trying to control the pace.
Tyke is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hendry trying to control from Tyke's half guard. Tyke has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Tyke is trying to control the position but Hendry postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Hendry is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Tyke scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

And that's the end of the fight!
Henry Tyke comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Hendry has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
