Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patricius Satanae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Roots Bloody Roots - Sepultura as his entrance music. The key to victory for Patricius Satanae has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Silva's coach down at Soul Supremacy Rio was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Silva's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Silva fails with a takedown attempt.
Silva shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Silva showed some decent athleticism there.
Silva looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Silva wants to pass the guard but Satanae is defending well.

Silva is working for an americana but Satanae has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Silva was thinking about the submission.

Silva throws a strike aimed at the side of Satanae's head but Satanae avoids it well.

Silva tries for a kimura but Satanae is defending well.

Silva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Silva swings around for an armbar but Satanae sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Silva's guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Silva tries for a takedown but Satanae manages to get underhooks.
Silva blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Satanae is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Silva is defending well for now.

Satanae is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Silva can do to turn this around?
Silva has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Satanae avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Satanae dips a shoulder and cracks Silva with a mighty uppercut! Silva falls back against the cage and Satanae unloads with a barrage of strikes! Silva is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Satanae screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
