Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Tuup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raistlin Lovelair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raistlin Lovelair has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Carl Tuup! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raistlin Lovelair! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lovelair tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tuup manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Tuup pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tuup avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tuup fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A nice side step and Lovelair releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Tuup shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lovelair sprawls well. Lovelair wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tuup gets slowly back to his feet. Tuup throws a sloppy head kick and Lovelair moves out of range easily. Tuup goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lovelair avoids the head kick by Tuup.
Tuup pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Tuup looks for a takedown but Lovelair sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Tuup. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tuup throws a sloppy head kick and Lovelair moves out of range easily. Tuup lands with a kick to the ribs.
Lovelair clinches up against the cage. A bit of stalling here from Tuup.
Lovelair misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tuup.
Tuup pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lovelair on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Lovelair doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Tuup pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lovelair swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Tuup stuns Lovelair with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Lovelair throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lovelair steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Tuup. That one must have hurt. Tuup tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lovelair misses with a double jab.
It looked like Tuup was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lovelair tries to clinch up. Lovelair on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Raistlin Lovelair has been cut. Lovelair doesn't manage to clinch there - Tuup circles away.
A combination from Tuup does no damage. Lovelair clinches with his opponent.

Tuup tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Tuup looking to throw knees to the head but Lovelair is blocking nicely.

Lovelair tries to land knees in the clinch but Tuup avoids the damage to the body. Lovelair lands a body shot in the clinch.
Tuup is breathing heavily. Lovelair tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Tuup avoids it. Tuup using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lovelair has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lovelair utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Lovelair lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tuup backwards. Lovelair trying to land knees to the body.
Lovelair prevents Tuup from breaking the clinch. Tuup manages to break the clinch.
Tuup stalks Lovelair and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lovelair's face. Lovelair staggers backwards, shaken. The fight moves into the clinch position. Tuup breaks the clinch.
Tuup throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Lovelair counters with a left and a right that stings Tuup. Lovelair is looking to clinch. Lovelair staying out of range there. Tuup throws a sloppy head kick and Lovelair counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Tuup wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Tuup's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tuup has been working on his balance at Kung Fu Fighting Club ($299 entry fee), so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Lovelair. Lovelair tries to clinch up but Tuup circles away and keeps his distance. Lovelair fails in his attempt to clinch. Tuup looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Lovelair tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tuup paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tuup throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lovelair counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Lovelair tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Tuup closes the distance and lands a one-two. Lovelair takes the fight into the clinch. Tuup is trying to force a seperation but Lovelair has the dominant position. Tuup wants to break free but Lovelair has control.
Lovelair tries to work over Tuup's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Carl Tuup will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Raistlin Lovelair's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A jab lands there for Tuup. A solid leg kick lands there for Tuup.
Tuup throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lovelair counters with a series of strikes. Tuup will be more careful next time no doubt. Lovelair wants to clinch up but Tuup keeps it at a distance. Tuup throws a half hearted mid kick. Lovelair doesn't manage to clinch there - Tuup circles away.
Tuup shoots in for a takedown but Lovelair shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A head kick misses from Tuup. Lovelair tries to counter with a clinch but Tuup shakes him off and moves away. Lovelair avoids the head kick by Tuup.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Lovelair in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tuup is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lovelair sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Tuup misses with a takedown attempt and Lovelair counters with a series of strikes that sends Tuup to the canvas! Lovelair follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Tuup is rocked! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Tuup. That's going to take a lot out of him. This has been an exciting period of action! Lovelair loads up on a big left hand. Tuup felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Lovelair looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Tuup can't hide his disappointment, as Lovelair celebrates the victory.
