Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ryan Giggs and Jimmy Dickinson. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Ryan Giggs! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Jimmy Dickinson! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Dickinson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Giggs as he jumps to the side. Dickinson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Giggs's waist but Giggs gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dickinson off to one side. Giggs moves into the clinch. Dickinson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Giggs to keep the fight standing. Ryan Giggs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Dickinson. Giggs pulls guard. Giggs can't keep his opponent in guard - Dickinson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Giggs desperately trying to maintain half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dickinson works his way into full mount! That's one minute gone in the round. Giggs is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Giggs on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Giggs tries to get out of the position. Dickinson is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Dickinson!
