Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Knee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raphael Adamson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
35 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Knee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Raphael Adamson! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knee tries to close the distance and clinch but Adamson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Knee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Adamson manages to avoid it. Adamson blocks a low kick nicely. Knee sets himself, and Adamson steps forward looking for the clinch! Knee avoids it this time. Adamson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Adamson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Adamson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Adamson is trying to get an arm triangle but Knee is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knee tries to buck Adamson off but Adamson is having none of it. Knee gets back to half guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Knee manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Knee has control of Adamson's left arm, preventing Adamson from doing any damage. Knee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Adamson preventing the sweep. Knee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Adamson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Knee looking for a guillotine here but Adamson defends easily.
Adamson has gone for a leg lock! Knee slips out almost immediately though and dives into Adamson's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Adamson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Knee missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Adamson keeping moving, preventing Knee from controlling successfully. Knee is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Knee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Adamson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Knee is in close to Adamson's body, working some short punches and elbows. Knee slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Knee throwing shots but missing, from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knee landing a few strikes. Knee postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Knee advances to full mount. Knee working for a guillotine from mount but Adamson is in no mood to give up. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Adamson blocking the ground and pound. Adamson avoids a series of strikes thrown by Knee.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Adamson blocking the ground and pound. Knee throwing strikes but Adamson uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Knee not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Adamson tries for a takedown but Knee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Adamson fails to land the takedown. Knee tried to counter with a leg kick but Adamson avoided it. Raphael Adamson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Adamson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Knee to the mat! Knee manages to get full guard. Bruce Knee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Knee wants to sweep here but Adamson controlling him for the moment. Knee is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knee's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Knee looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Knee does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Adamson shoots in looking for a takedown but Knee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Adamson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. It looked like Knee wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Bruce Knee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raphael Adamson. Adamson regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Knee. Knee trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Knee in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Knee has his hands clasped together around Adamson's back. He's all about the action.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Knee shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Knee missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Bruce Knee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Adamson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Knee. Knee trying to control from Adamson's half guard. Adamson has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Knee's corner is telling him to maintain position. Adamson keeping moving, preventing Knee from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Adamson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Knee controls the pace. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Adamson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Knee but Knee pushes him off and we're back to square one. And that's the end of the fight! Bruce Knee showed his dominance in that final round. Well Knee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Bruce Knee! Bruce Knee decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
