Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Gulper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Federov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander Federov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rusty Gulper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Federov checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Federov slips a jab and a cross from Gulper.
Federov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Federov gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Federov on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Gulper is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Federov creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

It looks like Rusty Gulper has been cut.

Federov working for a triangle but Gulper defends it easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gulper accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Gulper keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Federov's head.

Federov has momentary wrist control but Gulper slips an elbow through the middle.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Gulper tries to close the distance and clinch up but Federov swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Gulper throws a push kick but Federov slaps the foot to one side.

Gulper finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Federov closes the distance but Gulper moves to the side
and Gulper counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Federov's guard now.
Federov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Gulper connects with a couple of short punches.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Federov tries to clinch there but Gulper circles away.
Gulper throws a head kick but Federov moves out of range.
Federov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gulper, pushing him back against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Federov just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gulper's brow.
Gulper wants to break the clinch but can't.
Gulper throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Federov blocks it with crossed arms.
Gulper takes a knee right on the jaw!
Federov lands a nice knee to the body.
Federov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gulper is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Gulper throws a knee to the head but misses.
Gulper looking to throw knees to the head but Federov is blocking nicely.
Federov manages to break the clinch.
Federov wants to clinch
and Gulper counters with a leg kick.
Gulper stalks Federov and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Federov's face. Federov staggers backwards, shaken.
Federov ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Gulper looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Federov is fending him off so far but Gulper persists. Nope, Federov circles away and we're back to standing.
Gulper changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Federov tries to avoid it but Gulper manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Federov to the ground. Federov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Federov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gulper, pushing him back against the cage.

Gulper takes a knee right on the jaw!
Federov jumps into guard, dragging Gulper to the mat.

Federov manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Federov wants to control the pace but Gulper is squirming around nicely.
Federov landing strikes from the mount and Gulper is in trouble!
Gulper is trying desperately to improve position.
Gulper reaches up to try and control the position but Federov seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Gulper rolls and tries to escape and now Federov has his back!

Federov looking for the RNC.
Gulper wants to control his opponent's hands but Federov gets his hands free.
Federov is working for a rear naked choke. Gulper is not defending it well and Federov has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Gulper refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Gulper's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Alexander Federov!
