The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verhoeven goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
As Verhoeven backs off Bison throws a huge counter combo but Verhoeven manages to avoid it all.
We've been informed that Bison has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
