Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Crushman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeus Leonidas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Crushman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zeus Leonidas! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crushman scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Zeus Leonidas has been cut. Crushman misses with a double jab
and Crushman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Leonidas misses with a hook. Crushman tries a low kick but Leonidas avoids it. Zeus Leonidas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Leonidas shoots and misses letting Crushman counter with a right hand. Crushman instigates a clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Crushman. Crushman tries to work over Leonidas's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Leonidas takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Crushman throws a head punch that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leonidas blocks an uppercut.
Leonidas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Crushman walks away with a smile on his face. Leonidas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Crushman misses the jab. Leonidas throws a jab but it's blocked by Crushman. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Leonidas has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Crushman shoots in and bounces Leonidas off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crushman trying to control but Leonidas is working from the bottom. Crushman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Leonidas is keeping the position for now. Leonidas keeping moving, preventing Crushman from controlling successfully. Leonidas is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Leonidas moves away from the strike by Crushman. Crushman motions for Leonidas to come forward. Crushman throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Crushman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Leonidas is trying to defend but Crushman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We've been hearing good reports from Crushman's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Leonidas actively working from the bottom here. Crushman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Leonidas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Crushman is working away from the top position though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Crushman is looking for a kimura but Leonidas is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Crushman to get the leverage. Leonidas is trying to maintain the position but Crushman is very close to passing his half guard. Crushman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Leonidas does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Crushman dominated that round. The cut man is working on Zeus Leonidas's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Crushman throws a nice inside leg kick. Crushman misses with a hook. Leonidas just misses with a punch to the body.
Crushman feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Leonidas's calf. Crushman misses the shot to the body. Leonidas scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Leonidas thumps Crushman with a low kick. Crushman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Leonidas. Crushman throws out a token jab with nothing on it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leonidas swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
so Crushman counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Leonidas working a defensive guard here.
Crushman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Leonidas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Crushman has managed to get both his arms back between Leonidas's legs - danger averted.

Crushman controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Crushman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Leonidas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crushman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Leonidas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Crushman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Crushman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Daniel Crushman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Crushman eventually gives up the hold.

Leonidas throws a body shot but no joy. Crushman throws a leg kick but Leonidas sees it coming and moves out of range. Leonidas moves out of range as Crushman strikes. Daniel Crushman is winning the standup battle so far. Crushman blocks a leg kick. Crushman changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Leonidas misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Crushman.
A big left from Leonidas misses. Leonidas takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Leonidas takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Crushman closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Leonidas did well to prevent Crushman getting side control. Crushman is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Leonidas has managed to free his arm - good work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Leonidas is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Crushman pulls his head out easily.

Leonidas is looking for a sweep. Daniel Crushman is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Crushman wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Leonidas, who protects the arm well. Leonidas is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Crushman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Crushman showed his dominance in that final round. Well Crushman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
