Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Edward Foilayoung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morgan Vrinceanu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Edward Foilayoung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Morgan Vrinceanu!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foilayoung shoots in for a takedown but Vrinceanu shows good takedown defense.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Foilayoung.
Foilayoung definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Foilayoung shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vrinceanu as he jumps to the side.

Foilayoung drives through and clinches with Vrinceanu against the cage.

Foilayoung pulls Vrinceanu into guard.

Vrinceanu drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Foilayoung dives on top into guard.

Vrinceanu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Foilayoung doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Foilayoung manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Foilayoung is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Vrinceanu lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Foilayoung is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Vrinceanu is aware though and is defending well.

Vrinceanu thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Foilayoung wants to stand up but Vrinceanu is controlling him.
Foilayoung pulls Vrinceanu in close to his closed guard and prevents Vrinceanu from doing any damage or advancing position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Vrinceanu misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Foilayoung seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Foilayoung shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vrinceanu as he jumps to the side.

Vrinceanu tries for a takedown but Foilayoung sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Foilayoung shoots in looking for a takedown. Vrinceanu tries to sprawl out of it but Foilayoung keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vrinceanu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Foilayoung shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vrinceanu sprawls well. Vrinceanu wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Foilayoung gets slowly back to his feet.
Edward Foilayoung is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Foilayoung closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Foilayoung takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Foilayoung seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Vrinceanu loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Vrinceanu drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Foilayoung manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Vrinceanu has Foilayoung in his guard.

Vrinceanu had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Foilayoung defends it easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Edward Foilayoung will probably get the nod.

and Vrinceanu counters with a three punch combo that has Foilayoung backing up. Foilayoung nods at Vrinceanu to acknowledge the strikes.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Vrinceanu has his foot on Foilayoung's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Foilayoung works his way back into a safe position though.
