Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Oleg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Mycock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pat Mycock is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Viktor Oleg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mycock lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Oleg bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Oleg landing strikes.
Oleg throws a strike aimed at the side of Mycock's head but Mycock avoids it well.
Oleg lands an elbow.
Oleg in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Oleg decides to stand back up.
Mycock needs to keep his hands up - Oleg had a free shot at his head there.
Mycock is rocked!
Oleg changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mycock tries to avoid it but Oleg manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mycock to the ground. Mycock escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Oleg counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mycock's guard now.

Oleg slips nicely into half guard.
Oleg thows a huge punch but Mycock dodges it nicely.

Mycock seems to have recovered his senses.

Oleg has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mycock is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Oleg shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mycock but Mycock pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Oleg feints and as Mycock raises his hands in defense, Oleg changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Oleg lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mycock down.

Oleg throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mycock takes one to the side of the head.
Oleg throws a series of punches but Mycock avoids them all with ease.

Oleg throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Mycock stumbling backwards into the cage! Mycock bounces back off the cage towards Oleg, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Oleg lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Oleg celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
