Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Nick Diaz and Predator Burns. Burns is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jiu-Jitsu. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Nick Diaz! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 6 losses; Predator Burns! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Diaz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Burns clinches with his opponent.
Diaz jumps into guard, dragging Burns to the mat.

Burns felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

After the fight, Nick Diaz was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. In defeat, Predator Burns stepped up to the mic, saying 'It's ok, i'm home.'. |
