Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Buck Futter and Mr Ward. Buck Futter had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 1 losses; Buck Futter! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 3 losses; Mr Ward! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Futter stuffs the takedown. Futter gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. We've been hearing reports that Futter has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Ward goes for a takedown in the clinch but Futter prevents it.

Futter can't keep his opponent in guard - Ward advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Ward wants to take a breather but Futter is having none of it. Ward is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Ward sitting in guard, not really doing much. Ward tries to free his leg and advance position but Futter is retaining full guard. Ward trying to control but Futter is working from the bottom.
