Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Samuel Cooke and Tom McIntyre. Chooooooooon! I think Cooke might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Harm's Way - Warriors Will Reign. McIntyre has chosen Rzabka • Człowiek Rap prod. by @Zdrowus as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Samuel Cooke! And in the blue corner, fighting out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Tom McIntyre!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

McIntyre is looking to improve his position but Cooke isn't that keen on the idea.

Cooke swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and McIntyre is now in Cooke's guard. A big mistake from Cooke there, giving up the dominant position!

My spies in The Bear's Den ($300) inform me that McIntyre has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Cooke drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McIntyre manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cooke has McIntyre in his guard.

Cooke has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. McIntyre doesn't defend quickly enough and Cooke has managed to lock this one up! Can McIntyre escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Cooke on a fantastic submission victory.
