Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Xander Machado and Richard Kuklinski. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 17 wins and 4 losses; Richard Kuklinski! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Kuklinski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Machado rushes Kuklinski and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kuklinski tries for a takedown. No joy.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kuklinski tries to free his leg and advance position but Machado is retaining full guard. We've been hearing good reports from Machado's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. That's two minutes gone in the round. Machado works a leg free and moves into half guard. Kuklinski felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. The fighters are battling for position here. Kuklinski manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kuklinski had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Machado defends it easily. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kuklinski looking for a guillotine here but Machado defends easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kuklinski drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Machado dives on top into guard. Machado is looking to advance position but Kuklinski has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Kuklinski is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Machado tries to reverse the position but Kuklinski maintains control.
