Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lonny Wyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Dingus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Dingus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lonny Wyatt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Dingus! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dingus gets a double leg takedown into Wyatt's guard. Wyatt trying to control the position.
Wyatt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wyatt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dingus wants to stand but Wyatt is controlling his posture from full guard. Dingus not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dingus wants to control from the top but Wyatt keeps moving. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wyatt managing to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Dingus instigates a clinch. Dingus tries for a takedown. No joy.
Dingus tightens his grip and picks Wyatt up, before dumping him to the ground. Wyatt manages to land in guard. Dingus in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Dingus landing some decent shots from guard. Wyatt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dingus is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like Dingus might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Wyatt is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Dingus's corner is telling him to maintain position. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Excellent takedown into side control there by Wyatt. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dingus manages to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dingus is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Dingus landing small, sideways elbows. Dingus is trying to control but can't.
Dingus wants to get back to full guard. Wyatt is looking for a kimura but Dingus is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wyatt to get the leverage. Wyatt looks to land a strike but Dingus avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Dingus seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Dingus is working an open guard so Wyatt takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Dingus shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Wyatt scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Dingus manages to mount him!
Wyatt is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dingus can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wyatt is looking to escape. Dingus avoids the attempt from Wyatt to control. Dingus takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Wyatt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dingus on the ground. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Dingus dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Dingus closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wyatt's guard. Wyatt has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Dingus has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Dingus blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Wyatt struggles to land a body shot inside as Dingus controls his hands.
Dingus blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Dingus misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Wyatt.
Wyatt is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dingus to keep the fight standing. Dingus pulls guard successfully.
Dingus trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Wyatt gets to his feet. Dingus looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Wyatt shoots for a takedown but Dingus saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. This has been an exciting period of action! Wyatt gets caught flat footed, as Dingus shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Wyatt is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Dingus dives into side control.

Nick Dingus has got the better of the ground game so far. Dingus wants to stand but Wyatt has his arm trapped. Wyatt is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Dingus is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. BOOM! Dingus connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Dingus looking to control and managing it successfully. Wyatt is desperately trying to improve his position but Dingus has a good base and remains in mount. Dingus controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dingus with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dingus has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Wyatt is forced to tap!
