Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, William Fidnhasieunch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, BaklaN Ko! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ko scores with a three punch combo!
Left hook, right uppercut from Ko. Ko moves into range and clinches up with Fidnhasieunch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Ko. Fidnhasieunch changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ko fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Fidnhasieunch shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ko as he avoids it easily. Ko has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Fidnhasieunch is landing a low percentage of strikes. Fidnhasieunch swats away the attempt to clinch by Ko. Ko throws a one two combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sloppy strikes from Ko. Those never looked like landing. Fidnhasieunch drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ko sprawls and moves away. Fidnhasieunch steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ko. That one must have hurt. Fidnhasieunch gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ko feints a jab promting Fidnhasieunch to slip. Ko then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Fidnhasieunch slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Fidnhasieunch misses with a takedown and Ko counters with a two punch combo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Fidnhasieunch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fidnhasieunch tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ko defends well and Fidnhasieunch ends up having to push Ko into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Fidnhasieunch misses with a double jab

Ko lands a nice uppercut. Fidnhasieunch goes for a takedown attempt but Ko pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ko pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Fidnhasieunch back to the cage. Ko follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

BaklaN Ko seems to be getting the better of the standup. Horrible takedown attempt by Fidnhasieunch or perhaps it was just good defense by Ko, which made it look bad. Fidnhasieunch fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ko sprawls well initially but Fidnhasieunch persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fidnhasieunch is keen to just control but Ko is a slippery customer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fidnhasieunch seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Ko is trying to stand.

Fidnhasieunch cracks Ko with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
