Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oren Hawke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miloslav Klegr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oren Hawke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Miloslav Klegr! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawke goes for a double leg but Klegr avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Klegr continues to drive forward. Klegr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hawke tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Klegr paws at him with a jab and circles away. Klegr feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Klegr sitting in guard, not really doing much. It looks like Klegr might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Klegr advances to half guard. Klegr throwing shots but Hawke is blocking nicely. Klegr drops an elbow to the side of Hawke's head. Klegr perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Hawke tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Klegr lands a nice short elbow. Klegr throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Klegr is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hawke is just riding it out for now. Klegr eventually gives up the hold. Hawke has hold of Klegr's hands but Klegr slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Hawke blocking the ground and pound attempt from Klegr. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hawke is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Klegr is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Klegr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Klegr controlling the action here. Klegr is continuing to stall. Hawke is looking to control Klegr's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hawke avoid being mounted?
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Klegr is controlling the pace.
Klegr passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Hawke! Klegr in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hawke tries to hold on but Klegr postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miloslav Klegr dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Klegr gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hawke to score an easy takedown into full guard. Klegr has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Hawke is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Hawke pulls guard effortlessly. Klegr keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hawke's head. Klegr controlling from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hawke looking for subs off his back but Klegr has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawke is trying to control but Klegr passes into side control!
Klegr has control of an arm but Hawke manages to advance to Klegr's back! Hawke is not going to allow Klegr to sit and survive in this position. Klegr is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Hawke off. It looks like it's working - Hawke slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Klegr displaying calm under pressure there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawke takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Klegr clinches. Klegr decides to pull guard. Klegr controlling Hawke's posture. Klegr is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Hawke frees his head nicely. Oh but Klegr has switched to an armbar! Hawke is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Miloslav Klegr!
