Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Fifth Fist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sylvester Ritter!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fist avoids the body shot from Ritter.
Ritter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ritter gets a clinch.
Fist prevents a body shot from Ritter.
Fist lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ritter backwards.
Fist lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Ritter tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fist's elbow.
Fist misses with the head strike.
Ritter trying to stall but Fist improves his position.
Fist breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ritter ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fist darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Sylvester Ritter has been cut.
Ritter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Fist moves out of range of the strikes.
Fist has been working on his boxing with his coaches at London MMA Club in the buildup to the fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ritter takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Ritter needs to keep his hands up - Fist had a free shot at his head there.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ritter has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Ritter slips a jab from Fist.
Ritter tries to close the distance and clinch but Fist swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fist fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ritter on the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fist misses with a hook.
Ritter feints the counter takedown.
Fist checks a low kick from Ritter.
Fist connects with a stiff jab that staggers Ritter - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Fifth Fist!
Fifth Fist was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
